Privacy Policy

This page explains what information JeraSend collects, why, and what happens to it. It describes the product as it actually works today, not as a general statement about what any online service might do. It isn't legal advice, and it doesn't replace reading the Terms of Service.
Information we collect
JeraSend is a multi-recipient order-organization tool. To provide it, we collect:
- Account information — the email address and password you sign up with, and any workspace/team you create or are invited into.
- Recipient information you enter — names, email addresses, and phone numbers for the people you're organizing deliveries for, which you provide on their behalf.
- Delivery addresses — the addresses you attach to a recipient (address lines, city/municipality, province, postal code, country, and any label or name/phone override you enter for that specific address).
- Product and order information — the products, quantities, and recipient assignments in an order you create, and the resulting order record.
- Shipment and tracking information — when a shipment is created for an order, the courier name, tracking number, and status history entered for it.
- Authentication and session information — data needed to keep you signed in, handled through session cookies.
- Technical/server information — standard request and error logs generated by running the service (see “Service providers” below).
How we use information
- To operate your account, workspace, and team membership.
- To let you build orders, assign recipients, and review them before creating an order.
- To send transactional email related to your account and orders — for example, order confirmations, team invitations, and status updates. We don't send marketing email through this system.
- To display order and shipment status to you and to workspace teammates you've added.
- To operate, secure, and troubleshoot the service (e.g. investigating an error).
Recipient / delivery information
When you add a recipient and address, you're entering information about someone else in order to have something delivered to them. That information is visible to other members of the same workspace (so a team can collaborate on an order) and, once an order is created, to whoever is fulfilling it. You're responsible for having a legitimate basis to share that person's information with us — see the Terms of Service.
JeraSend does not currently integrate with an automated courier/shipping API. Tracking numbers and courier names are entered manually by whoever is fulfilling an order — we do not transmit recipient or address information to a courier automatically.
Service providers
We rely on a small number of infrastructure providers to run JeraSend:
- Supabase — hosts our database and handles authentication (sign-up, sign-in, session management). Your account and workspace data live here.
- Vercel — hosts the application itself and its server logs.
- Resend — delivers the transactional email described above (order confirmations, invitations, status updates).
We do not currently use a payment processor — JeraSend does not collect payment card information, because payment collection is not yet implemented (see the Terms of Service for what this means for an order you create today). We do not currently use an automated courier/shipping API, an analytics/tracking service, or an advertising network.
Data security
Workspace data is isolated at the database level so that one workspace cannot read or modify another workspace's recipients, orders, or shipments. Sensitive administrative operations run through server-side code that re-checks your permissions on every request, rather than trusting anything sent from your browser. No system is perfectly secure, and we can't guarantee against every possible incident.
Data retention
We keep account, workspace, recipient, and order data for as long as your account or workspace is active, so the product continues to work correctly (e.g. so past orders remain visible). We don't currently commit to a fixed deletion timeline for every category of data — if you'd like your data removed, contact us (see “Contact” below) and we'll address it directly.
Your choices
- You can edit or remove recipients and addresses you've added, from your account.
- You can leave a workspace, or (if you own it) remove other members from it.
- You can ask us to close your account — contact us to request this.
Cookies and authentication
We use cookies only to keep you signed in (authentication/session cookies). We don't use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.
Children
JeraSend is not directed at children, and account holders must be adults capable of entering a binding agreement.
Changes to this policy
If we materially change how we handle information, we'll update this page and change the “Last updated” date above.
